Alain J. Godbout
His information management experience dates back to the early 1970s when he established one of the first college level programs in document and information management at Lionel-Groulx College. Since, he has been involved with a wide range of technological and organizational change including the transformation of records offices into information management services in the public and private sector. Since the early 1990s, Godbout has been actively involved in the development of professional standards of practice for Knowledge Management with the Knowledge Management International Institute, the National Capital Knowledge Management Working Group and the Society of Canadian Office Automation Professionals. Godbout has formal education in Industrial Relations from École de Relations Industrielles and University of Montreal and was a lecturer at Université du Québec in Hull.
