Susan Henczel

Susan Henczel is the education and business development manager at CAVAL Ltd., a university cooperative in Melbourne, Australia. She has over 25 years experience in the information industry in academic, state reference, government, public and corporate libraries.

Henczel is currently conducting information audit workshops in Australia and New Zealand and is developing audit programs for public and private sector organizations. Her forthcoming book, The Information Audit: A Practical Guide will be published in October 2000. Henczel has also been contracted to write the selection and acquisitions chapter for the 8th edition of the Handbook of Special Librarianship and Information Work, which is due for release in November 2000. Henczel will be delivering a paper at the Special Libraries Association Global Conference in Brighton, UK in October on information auditing as the foundation step in developing a knowledge management strategy.
