Laurence Lock Lee

Laurence (Laurie) Lock Lee, Principal Knowledge Management Consultant, CSC Strategic Consulting, was formally the Practice Leader for Enterprise Knowledge Management with BHP Information Technology prior to BHP IT's acquisition by Computer Sciences Corporation in June 2000. He is now a member of CSC's Australian Strategic Consulting group and CSC's Global Research Services team.

Lock Lee provides thought leadership in Knowledge Management, with key application areas being E-Business, Supply Chain Management, Call Centres/Customer Relationship Management and Corporate Centres. He has undertaken consulting assignments in Manufacturing, Transport & Distribution, Public Administration, Defence, Research, Engineering, Mining, Petroleum and Utilities.

Before joining BHP IT Lock Lee led Information Technology Research & Development within BHP Research. The research was focussed on advanced decision support technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and knowledge based expert systems. He has published over 40 papers and reports on the above topics and has been an invited speaker at public forums and conferences, both within Australia and internationally.
