Boris I. Sedunov

Boris I. SedunovBoris I. Sedunov is Deputy Rector of the Moscow State Institute of Business Administration and the leader of the International Virtual University project at this institute.

He is also Chair of the Entrepreneurship and Business Informatic, Moscow State Institute of Business Administration and Professor of Management for the College of Global Economics, EarthNet Institute. One of his roles is lead in the defining of professional requirements for future managers.

He also instructs courses on the general, strategic and innovation management, presentation techniques, and modern concepts of natural physics for managers. He developed and promoted the methodology on how to effectively involve English-speaking business teachers from the United States in the current educational process. He oversees his colleagues academic programs, the students' field studies and major projects.

A noted author and speaker in both science and business, he has created new theories in Philosophy of Management and in Statistical Physics. Sedunov received a doctorate in Physics-Math Sciences and a Master of Science, Engineer-Physicist, from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He studied biophysics under the direction of the very first Russian biophysicist, Dr. Frank-Kamenetcky, in the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and became a leader of Innovative Scientific Groups in Electronics.

He assisted Dr. Kogan in working out the impurities photothermic ionization in solids theory, which opened a new direction in the solid-state physics. His doctorate thesis, based on the W. Shockley energy trapping theory, gave theoretical basis for integral acustoelectronics development in Russia. As a life-long pursuit, he continues in his theoretical investigations of solids and liquids in terms of order-disorder transition.

Born in Eastern Siberia, Sedunov has extensive experience in the former USSR republics giving popular lectures on the future of science. He now lives with his family in a small satellite city of Moscow named Zelenograd (Greentown). When not investigating science, business and world issues, he enjoys studying foreign languages, skiing, windsurfing and navigating the Internet. The family motto is: "Nature is kind to those who are wise".
