Mildred LG Shaw
She is a Chartered Mathematician and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications and prior to retirement was a Chartered Psychologist, a Fellow of the British Computer Society and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She has authored over 150 papers and authored or edited 5 books on a wide variety of aspects of computer and human systems. Her research interests include: human-computer interaction; the acquisition and transfer of knowledge; software engineering; and knowledge-based system applications. Articles by This Author

Mildred
L G Shaw is Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary. She was
formerly Industrial Research Chair in Software Engineering and Professor
of Computer Science. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master
of Science from the University of London, and her Doctor of Philosophy
from Brunel University.
