roles, creating position descriptions, making corporate yellow
pages, drafting resumes, selecting the best candidates, finding
jobs and determining training needs. She further explores how

of virtual knowledge networks, such as the Internet Biologists,
an online community of scientists facing the issues of the Internet
as they try to stay virtually connected. Part II explores possible
responses to stimulate permanency in a virtual community, such
as the Meta switch, membership quality and the virtual leadership
of "anticipate, create and dissolve".

In this concluding part Lau examines other possible solutions
