Booking Courses ~ TeleClasses ~ Presentations for your group or organization

Stanford Solutions offers a variety of courses, workshops, presentations and TeleClasses on knowledge management, knowledge mapping, knowledge auditing and other business efficiency topics.

If you do not find the required product scheduled below or would like to customize one to suit your needs, contact Stanford Solutions with "Booking Request" in the subject line and details of the request in the body of the message.

Courses or presentations can be customized to meet specific needs as follows:

  • Topic, theme and objectives changed
  • Depth of coverage adjusted
  • Length of session increased or decreased
  • Offered onsite, a central location or via TeleClass
Fees vary by length, location, hosting agreements and other factors.

Current Onsite courses

  • Knowledge Mapping/Auditing 2-Day Course
    January 15-17, 2003 - Albany, NY - in-house session for client
    If you are in or near NY State, you may take advantage of a course for your organization earlier in the week or the following week at lower rates than booking at another time.

  • Role of Information Professionals in Knowledge Management
    June 7-12, 2003; New York, NY - Special Libraries Association Annual Conference: Putting Knowledge to Work®

Current TeleClasses

Now for the first time you may take the full KM Toolkit course by distance learning and save travel costs!

This will be based on the face-to-face sessions as detailed at www.knowmap.com/ssi/program.html

Dates to be announced. We will be offering an open course for anyone and also separate bookings for organizations. The focus of the separate courses will be specific to the individual organization.

The cyber-classes will consist of prepared readings and exercises delivered through pdf and/or password protected url. These classes will also include 6 hours of TeleClass instruction and discussions as well as a number of webchat sessions. Practice exercises can be conducted within the participants' organization(s) with general discussions in the open courses and discussions specific to the individual organizations for a single organization booking.

The course fee will be $395 US per person or a flat fee of $2000 US for a specific organization with a maximum number of 10 participants. If two or more individuals (not exceeding 5) from one organization wish to take the course at the same time, a reduced fee may be considered for the additional participants.

The fee will include a subscription to KnowMap and those who are already subscribers will be offered a discount on the course fee at a rate dependent upon their current subscription level.
An initial extra TeleClass will be conducted for participants to become accustomed to this instructional mode.
